Weekend Update (18th April 2009)

Clydebank got revenge against the Police for the poor show at the end of March which contributed to them losing out on second place in the league.  This time with a firm pitch and not so bad a referee the Clydebank backs opened up the Police defence to run in ten tries for a score of 60-0.  Vinnie Nellis took over Graeme Kyle's status as man of the match with three of the tries.  ...more

Weekend Update (31st January & 1st February 2009)

A poor weekend all round with no wins for any of the senior or Midi Clydebank teams.

The Clydebank 1st XV failed to beat Cumbernauld away from home after their hard match last weekend.  The match was a poor showing with Clydebank losing 8-14 with the only consolation being the losing bonus point.  ...more

A report of the matches can be viewed here.  Photos of the 1st XV match are available here.

The 2nd XV put up a good fight but eventually lost out by 12-53 to Glasgow Accies.

The U16's played Arran at home but could not contain the bigger Arran team and eventually lost 10-35.

The U14 also lost 22-33 but to a more mature Lomond team.  The Minis meanwhile joined up with Lomond to take on Helensburgh at Dillichip.  There was a lot of entertaining rugby played and all the kids enjoyed themselves.

Next week the 1st XV play Uddingston at home while the 2nd XV travel to play Braidolm.

The U14's and Minis both travel to Kilmacolm to play Birkmyre on Sunday 8th February.
