The club held a "Club Day" aimed at having some fun and introducing the players to some early contact via a trial match situation.

The event was well attended even though a number of players are still on holiday or catching up on work before the start of the season.

The highlight of the day was the superb performances put in by all the younger players who are moving up from last years U17s.

The following shows some of the squad of players who took part.

The fun part of the day comprised a number of games where everyone had a chance to win one of a number of excellent prizes.  The events and winners were as follows;

The day was rounded off with a short game aimed at giving all who turned up an easy introduction back into hitting the ground.  The game also allowed the coaching/selection committee see everyone in action and it was obvious that there will be a lot of competition this year.  Photos of the match can be viewed here.
